Hello from Akiko Yamada of Shukado
I have replaced Kenshi.
I am sorry that I haven
't write mail magazine. 

Yesterday how did you spend?
In Japan most men seemed to be nervous.
Because yesterday was St. Valentine's Day.
There is a custom in Japan that women give chocolate men who they love.
A confectionary company started this eventto broaden out the market.
Now that became an annual event!

Today I intoroduce to you
"Gas Museum.

It is located in Kodaira city, suburb of Tokyo.
The museum is ran by Tokyo Gas Co Ltd, which is the biggest gas company in Japan.
They exhibit gas ornament like gas lamp, rice cooker and Kaika-e.
Kaika-e
" means Ukiyo-e depicted scenes of cultural enlightenment
A lot of Gas lamp were depicted in Kaika-e.
Gas lamp was a symbol of cultural enlightenment

Now you can see special exhibition
"Famous places of cultural enlightenment with cherry blossom"


And there are some Kaika-e in Shukado
's inventory.
I will show you some part of them.
