Ukiyoe painter. Also referred to as Yosai and others as Betsugo. In addition to beauty, genre painting, the pieces related to the world exposition, the Constitution, or the Diet, he worked on the famous views of Tokyo, Sino-Japanese War, Russo-Japanese War, and so on until the late Meiji Period. He also left autographs in his latest years.
